Today we setup our first hosting server. We looked at several different Forex VPS providers, however, in the end we determined having our own server would be more scalable long term.
We are fortunate enough to have a strong relationship with a local organization with 27 MB of dedicated fiber bandwidth with extremely low latency. This will be important to help ensure we have the fastest possible data feeds and order exectution during our testing.
The current box we are setup on has dual quad core Xeon chips and 32 gb of RAM and we have Windows Server 2003 virtualized on it. This will allow us to setup several virtualized systems in the near future to run as many MT4 copies with expert advisors and forex signal programs as we need.
Now the work of setting up all the EAs starts!
